Q4: Brazil, China, Rwanda & Thailand
The Mission: To help Christian business leaders worldwide to live for Christ in their
natural sphere of influence while remembering the poor.
CIM Goal: To have a Convene Forum or equivalent in every continent of the World by
January 2025.
The Promise: “Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden
things that you have not known” (Jer.33:3).
Currently I am working with Ricardo to launch a
Convene Forum in San Paulo Brazil. He just
completed the chair training at our Yorba Linda
CA corporate headquarters. Please pray for
Ricardo as he works to launch his first group. He is
an accomplished lawyer and a family man living
in San Paulo.
Jack from Beijing and Neva from Shanghai were
at the Convene Collab conference at the end of
September in San Diego. They are very
interested in launching Convene style forum
with a Chinese branding there. Pray for its
formation and the person to lead the first group.
Ken Stiles, Convene Chair, from Dallas is starting a Convene group in Rwanda Africa in addition to
his established groups in Texas. Pray for a person to be raised up to replace Ken in the Rwanda
Forum.
In Northern mountains of Thailand CIM is taking care of children at risk. This little boy whose nick name is Gon is the child of Burmese refugee parents who are mental impaired. We are helping Gon with food,clothing and school supplies administer through his Thai school. Pray for their salvation as we have connected the family to a small mountain tribal church that is evangelical and is led by a lay pastor that was converted from Buddhism.
