Turning Point
Key Verse: “They were willing to live in the risky faith-embrace of God's action for them...” Romans 4:12
God has plans for me. Jeremiah 29:11, My calling is to embrace those plans but I find that this is not that easy.
Why is this?
This step into God’s unknown plan for me seems risky. I must be willing to embrace God’s action without knowing where this is leading. I have an internal resistance to step into the unknown.
Why the resistance?
Is it about my control?
Do I want to go where He is leading?
Can I trust my outcomes to Him?
Is it about my inadequacies?
Do I have what it takes to follow? Will the journey be too much? Is there too much pain in following His coarse?
Is it about my fear of the unknown?
This faith living seems emotionally hard. I am familiar with living by sight rather by faith. This faith walk is 180 degrees from my natural orientation. I have nothing I can touch, see or feel that is concrete.
How do I nurture my faith walk that seems “risky” and “contrary “ to my nature?
“TURNING POINT”
Think about this:
Remember His love designed my days.
“Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.” Psalm 139:16
Surrender my way to what the Spirit is doing. Consider this quote:
“Tearing apart my master plan trading it for the Master’s Hand…” Tauren Wells
Rest in His leading:
“The safest place for me is to be in Your Great Unknown…“ Tauren Wells
